Noriyasu Obushi is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies of the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo / JSPS Research Fellow (DC1). His research interests include human augmentation, virtual/augmented reality, and wearable computing. He was awarded his BEng from the National Institute of Technology, Ishikawa College in 2018. He is now involved in applying wearable devices for augmenting human perception and motor skills, especially in micrometer-scale environments. His works have been exhibited at SIGGRAPH, Laval Virtual, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. One of his publications was recognized with an award for the second best paper at the Augmented Human International Conference in 2019.
